Following the strong industry response at ICSCRM 2022 in Davos, Zadient Technologies continued to strengthen its position in the global silicon carbide (SiC) ecosystem during the International Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (ICSCRM) 2023, held in Sorrento, Italy.
The company’s leadership team — CEO Kagan Ceran, CTO Dr. Jan Richter, and Nathalie Attar, Customer Relations Manager — met with key industry players to review ongoing qualification results and outline next steps toward full customer integration. These discussions reaffirmed the momentum gained from the previous year and highlighted the increasing recognition of Zadient’s disruptive SiC source material technology.
“Since our first round of qualification agreements in Davos, we’ve seen strong progress across multiple customer programs,” said Kagan Ceran, CEO of Zadient Technologies. “ICSCRM 2023 gave us the opportunity to deepen those relationships, explore new markets, and review initial qualification feedback that reinforces confidence in our approach.”
The event served as a platform to solidify partnerships with existing collaborators and establish connections with new potential customers. Discussions covered preliminary performance results of Zadient’s monolithic SiC source materials, which have shown excellent purity and structural properties in early testing phases.
“These engagements are critical as we transition from proof-of-concept to broader industrial implementation,” said Dr. Jan Richter, CTO of Zadient. “We’re not only meeting the required specifications for next-gen SiC growth, we’re shaping the roadmap together with our customers to ensure long-term supply security and technical excellence.”
As SiC technology continues to be a cornerstone of electrification and energy efficiency in the automotive and power electronics sectors, Zadient’s European-based, SiC production line stands out as a strategic and secure source of high-purity feedstock.
