At the International Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (ICSCRM) 2024 in Durham, USA, Zadient Technologies continued to advance its global momentum, taking significant steps toward full customer qualification and volume production readiness. CEO Kagan Ceran, CTO Dr. Jan Richter, and Customer Relations Manager Nathalie Attar met with key industry stakeholders to align on delivery roadmaps and expand collaborative efforts during this critical transition phase.

Building on the success of previous engagements at ICSCRM 2022 in Davos and ICSCRM 2023 in Sorrento, Zadient is now moving from initial customer qualification into mass production planning. The meetings in Durham focused on the logistics, infrastructure, and systems integration needed to support volume scale-up in line with the growing demand for high-purity SiC source materials.

“With our qualification programs now nearing completion, we are fully focused on ramping up capacity and reliability to meet our customers’ industrial needs,” said Kagan Ceran, CEO of Zadient. “We’re entering a decisive phase — not just proving our material but also ensuring we can scale it consistently and deliver with excellence.”

To meet the anticipated demand, Zadient is actively preparing the next production expansion phase on an industrial platform with fully closed recycling system for the production of SiC source material, combining scale with the stringent quality control and environment friendly processes required by leading SiC wafer manufacturers.

A key enabler in Zadient’s readiness is its enterprise-level digital integration, including a newly deployed SAP system. This system ensures near-automated communication and order tracking with large corporate customers, offering transparency, traceability, and seamless integration into their existing production and logistics workflows.

“We’ve built a production environment that doesn’t just deliver world-class material — it connects intelligently with our customers,” said Dr. Jan Richter, CTO of Zadient. “This is crucial as we move toward long-term supply agreements and industrial-scale delivery.”

The discussions in Durham were highly encouraging, with customers recognizing the novelty, security of supply, and performance of Zadient’s solid SiC source materials. Several partners indicated readiness to move into the final steps of qualification and pre-series testing.
